A baseline fisheries survey in key landing areas was first conducted in 2012 and still continuing to date. The purpose of the survey is to determine the lake-wide range of knifefish infestation in the Laguna Lake. Ten Fisheries Enumerators were deployed covering costal municipalities in Laguna, Rizal and NCR to conduct daily assessment survey on the volume of landed catch of knifefish and indigenous species.
